Leicester Bowling Club Facilities
Leicester Bowling Club, the perfect place to enjoy a friendly game of lawn bowls in a beautiful setting. Whether you are a beginner or an expert, you will find a warm welcome and a great atmosphere at our club.
We are proud to have one of the best bowls greens in Leicestershire, rated by many as among the top in the country. Our green is well-maintained and watered by an automatic system, thanks to the generous support of Biffaward in 2016. We also have an indoor short mat bowls and petaquane court for those who prefer to play indoors.
Our clubhouse is spacious and comfortable, with a fully licensed bar, a kitchen, a lounge, a function room and changing rooms. We also have ample parking space and easy access by public transport.

Leicester Bowling Club has excellent clubhouse facilities with a well stocked bar serving draft beers and lagers alongside a good range of wines & spirits and all the popular soft drinks. Full catering facilities are on hand and the venue is an ideal location for hiring. The Club also has large car parking facilities and party sizes from just a few to over 100 can be covered. Hire rates from £50 plus bar. Contact the Club Secretary for details of hire costs. Corporate hire for meetings or social events can be arranged to include games of petanque, darts or indoor short mat bowls to add a different theme to your next event.
Throughout the winter the Club plays short mat bowls on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons and other arranged fixture nights.
