Social Events
 

As a club LBC has a very active social side. The Social & Indoor Committee organises events and activates throughout the year.

Indoor short mat bowls – weekly games with prizes plus knockout competitions. Social matches organised with other clubs. Social evenings with games of indoor bowls.

“Grasshoppers” walking group – regular walks organised around some of the Counties beauty spots usually top off with a glorious Sunday lunch.

Petanque – french boules played on purpose built court next to the Clubhouse. Home to the “Gatters” petanque team.

Spring & Autumn Fayres – annual fund raising and social events for all ages.

Social events – dinners and entertainments throughout the year. Charity events and Club “do’s” including annual diner and prize giving night

Coffee mornings and presentations – regular programme of gatherings for interesting talks and demonstrations and the opportunity to meet with friends & members.
