Looking for venue hire?

Leicester Bowling Club has excellent clubhouse facilities with a well stocked bar serving draft beers and lagers alongside a good range of wines & spirits and all the popular soft drinks. Full catering facilities are on hand and the venue is an ideal location for hiring. The Club also has large car parking facilities and party sizes from just a few to over 100 can be covered. Hire rates from £35 per ½ day. Contact the Club Secretary for details of hire costs. Corporate hire for meetings or social events can be arranged to include games of bowls, petanque, darts or indoor short mat bowls to add a different theme to your next event.

Throughout the winter the Club plays short mat bowls on Monday evenings and Wednesday afternoons and other arranged fixture nights. Fun indoor bowls is enjoyed by many members and competitions are organised through the season for men’s, ladies and pairs championships.

In the summer regular games of petanque (french boules) are played with league teams enjoying the purpose built court. The boules court at Leicester is home to the “Gatters” team and the court is used as part of the fun social days held regularly at the Club.
